Led by our core members, the COE
courses whose content is consistent with that of our institute are offered
in a doctoral program of Graduate School of Law (other graduate courses,
such as Graduate School of Commerce, are also included) to support writing
a thesis about corporation law and other related fields. Three doctoral
course students are already employed as a visiting research assistant.
In addition, opportunities to visit or study abroad will be offered to
researchers by RA program (19 persons are already employed as RA). Students
in Graduate School of Law can also have access to the research outcome
since our research projects are significantly meaningful when learning
the basic of corporation legislation. In an intention of our institute,
Japan, one of Asian countries is challenging to investigate Western laws
and systems that shape their sprit. We will accept many students from Asian
countries so that we can share our intention with them and support their
thesis writing. Moreover, for the freshman of School of Law, cross-educational
lectures will be provided as a COE course to let them touch cutting edge
legal issues. We allow researchers to participate freely in any other research
projects if they register one of projects. That will give them opportunities
to see a wide range of issues, values and ideas directly. It is sure that
the entire research environment given by our institute will develop the
next generation of researchers with the finest awareness of current issues.
